Some employers try to save money when producing compromise agreements by re-using one a lawyer drafted for them in the past. This can lead to an embarrassing situation where it’s not proof read properly and the name of the former employee from the original Compromise Agreement is left in the new Compromise Agreement when it’s re-used. So much for the confidentiality provisions in the Compromise Agreement! Could have been worse…it could have left in the amount of money he got paid to go too!
For £15.00 plus VAT, the PJH Law Compromise Agreement Wizard will prevent this sort of silly but highly embarrassing mistake and provide you with a bespoke Compromise Agreement tailored to each case – see here for details.
