It’s the last Friday of the month and – to paraphrase Alan Carr – what a month It’s been! Tribunal Fees, the Taylor Review, BBC Pay Gap and same sex pension inheritance, employment law issues have made the news several times this month. The abolition of ET fees will no doubt be seen as a landmark decision for years to come. However, the Taylor review is something that will probably not be anywhere near as significant.
The report highlights the need for change in several areas of employment law, particularly employment status. However, the report does not have enough teeth as we stated in our summary of it earlier this month.
