This post is as much a reminder to me and the team rather than of any general interest, so forgive my self indulgence.

According to a case decided by the EAT and published on the website yesterday any appeals to the EAT need to be lodged well before the last day. If you leave it to the last day and the EAT’s fax machine is busy, then any faxes (shown by the fax log)to have arrived after 4.00pm will be out of time. Note that an appeal to be correctly lodged normally needs about 50 pages of attachments (Et1, Et3, judgment, reasons etc)

Message is: To keep stress and blood pressure levels down do not leave appeals (or et claims or responses) until the last day!
