Following on from Sarah’s post here we have today had two of our Tribunal cases listed for tomorrow pulled because of a lack of Employment Judges. One was due to be heard at Leeds Tribunal and another at Boston.
We have also had another case that was pulled because of a lack of employment judges in July re-listed for the middle of December! That case is at Bury St Edmunds ET, so if you have a complaint going to Bury for a couple of days, looks like you will be lucky to get listed this year now. Claimants need to bear this in mind when working out how long they can eek out their finances until they get their day in Tribunal! The KPI of getting a hearing within 26 weeks looks like it is becoming less and less likely as Tribunals become increasingly bogged down with their workloads.
