I am a 20-year qualified solicitor. I returned to practice after a career break and now specialise in employment law. I have handled numerous Settlement Agreements and aim to get the best settlement possible for my clients.
I have run cases to tribunal and have a particular interest in sex and disability discrimination cases. I understand that employment problems can be very distressing and find it very rewarding to see clients’ confidence grow as they progress through the process and move on with their lives.
My career path has been varied. I originally worked in the Wills and Trust Department of Barclays Bank Trust Company helping to administer wills before training as a solicitor in Northumberland.
After taking a career break I returned to work in administration roles which included, fleet administration, account work and customer service before eventually returning to the legal profession.
I have a law degree from Hull University and took my Solicitors Final Examinations at Chester Law School. I have gained several word processing and, computer and book keeping exams along the way.
Out of work I enjoy being with my family and keeping fit. I love travelling and particularly love Italy, the Italian culture and cuisine.
