Emma Roberts – Practice Manager

Emma Roberts


I am the Practice Manager at PJH Law, I manage the day to day issues in the business ranging from being the first contact in the office to holding management meetings and dealing with the accounts. When we purchased the office in 2013, I project managed the refurbishment, sold all the old fittings, organised tradesmen and got us all moved in and sorted within a very tight time scale. I like to be organised, I like to be RFT (Right First Time) and I always bring a smile to work.


Before I started work at PJH Law I was working as a self-employed cleaner. I started my own cleaning business and at one point had 3 people working for me but after doing it for a while I wasn’t satisfied and wanted a career change. I started with PJH Law in June 2008 as a Practice Assistant, In, 2011 I was promoted to Practice Manger and continue to thrive in this position.


I went to Queen Eleanor Secondary School in Stamford. From there I went on to do a YTS scheme where I worked 4 days and went to college 1 day a week. I gained a NVQ Business Administration level 1 and 2, CLAIT, and Computer Literacy 1 and 2. I also attended an evening course and got a RSA distinction in typing.

I have completed various e-learning courses from Money Laundering, manual handing to GDPR, I have also completed a Management and Leadership course together with a course on People Management.

Outside Activities

At weekends I enjoy being busy but also like reading and relaxing. I enjoy going to the gym and going out on my bike. I like to set myself new challenges and try new things. We are only here once after all. I also enjoy dining out, meeting new people and travelling.
