One company, in a bid to attract young and talented staff has actually used hangovers as a legitimate reason to request flexible working from home days. The Audit Lab, a Bolton based PR firm, introduced the policy along with an unlimited holiday scheme.
The company argue it is also a means of attracting staff and that operating on a basis of trust means staff take fewer sickness days. The company is yet to have anyone abuse the policy but says it would reconsider the scheme if employees were taking too many days.
Many companies are taking an alternative approach to annual leave and this is a policy anyone working over Christmas will be jealous of!
